New Items on Etsy and BTDLDesigns Webstore

I am very excited to be adding these piecings to my etsy store and the BTDLDesigns webstore!!!!  I will be going on vacation for a couple of weeks and will add them on my return.  My new items will include : Hansel and Gretal and the house made of candy, the characters from the Wizard of Oz, and more from my Mother Goose series - Patty Cake and Jack be Nimble...

Red Rocks Theater

While we were on the top of Dino Ridge, we saw an incredible view of Red Rocks Theater.  Since we have never been there, we took a drive over.  It is just gorgeous!  The rock formations are very similar to those at Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.  For those not familiar with Red Rocks, they have a good deal of concerts there during the summer and were actually having one there that night so we not able to take the tour of the theater.  We hope to go to a concert there this summer.  :)

Dino Ridge - Morrison Colorado

Brian had a few days off last week so we decided to take the children to a place we had heard about a few weeks earlier - Dino Ridge in Morrison.  Many years back they found some dinosaur tracks during road construction.  It was only recently that they closed this road and made it a protected site and stopped the public removal of fossils.  This ridge is where the clash of the Continents happened a bazillion years ago.  The beauty is beyond words, and the view from the top of ridge - breath taking.  I know why they call this place "Colorful Colorado".  :)
